Run Me My Refund ("we", "us", "our") is operated by 3S Financial Group LLC. This policy explains what personal information we collect from clients, how we use it, and how we protect it.
1. Information We Collect
To prepare your tax return we collect: full name, date of birth, Social Security Number or ITIN, government-issued photo ID, address and phone, email, dependents' information, W-2s, 1099s, prior-year returns, bank account/routing numbers, and any other documents required to file an accurate return.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to: (a) prepare, file, and amend your federal and state tax returns; (b) communicate with you about your return, refund, or appointment; (c) facilitate refund-advance or bank-product offerings you opt into; and (d) comply with IRS recordkeeping and disclosure requirements.
3. IRC §7216 — Tax Return Information
Federal law (IRC §7216) prohibits us from disclosing or using your tax return information for any purpose other than preparing your return without your written consent. We will not sell your information.
4. Sharing
We share information only with: the IRS and state taxing authorities; our refund-transfer/bank partner if you elect a bank product; software providers strictly for filing and storage; and law enforcement when required by valid legal process.
5. Security
Documents and data are stored encrypted in access-controlled systems. Only authorized preparers can view your file. We use HTTPS for all uploads and multifactor authentication on internal systems.
6. Retention
We retain copies of your return and supporting documents for at least three years as required by IRS regulations, and up to seven years for amended returns.
7. Your Rights
